   Ingredients 1 lb fresh yucca (cassava) , peeled and cut into chunks 1 large egg , beaten 1/4 cup all-purpose flour  (or whole wheat flour for added fiber) 2 cloves garlic , minced  (optional) 1/4 cup chopped cilantro or parsley 1/4 tsp cumin powder   (optional for flavor) Salt and pepper , to taste Cooking spray  or  1 tbsp olive oil  for pan-frying  How to Make It 1.  Cook the Yucca Place yucca chunks in a large pot of water and bring to a boil.
