Air Fryer Chilean Sea Bass with Lemon and Herbs
Ingredients:
2 Chilean sea bass fillets (about 6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
Fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, or chives), for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the sea bass fillets dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the sea bass fillets.
Place the sea bass fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
Arrange lemon slices on top of the sea bass fillets.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with fresh herbs (optional) and serve immediately.
Tips:
For a thicker crust, dredge the sea bass fillets in a mixture of flour and spices before adding the olive oil mixture.
If your sea bass fillets are thicker than 1 inch, you may need to increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
Be sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket, as this can prevent the fish from cooking evenly.
You can substitute other herbs or spices for the oregano and thyme, such as rosemary, paprika, or chili powder.
Serve the sea bass with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, couscous, or quinoa.
